His career spans HM Prison Service, local & central government, national charities and independent care organisations, where he has led service transformation, organisational growth and strategic partnerships. A former Corporate Parenting Portfolio Holder, Jamie has operated at board, C-suite and national levels, championing improved outcomes for children, young people and families with complex needs.

  • Stephen Taylor brings decades of business leadership experience, with a strong track record of building successful organisations, leading high-performing teams and driving sustainable growth. His strategic mindset, commercial expertise and people-first approach help ensure Foundations for Life Homes is built on strong values, effective leadership and long-term stability.

  • Nick Mills brings extensive leadership experience in business and marketing transformation, with a strong track record of turning ambitious strategies into practical, operational results. Combining an entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on execution, innovation and continuous improvement, he helps ensure Foundations for Life Homes is built to scale effectively, operate with discipline and deliver lasting positive impact for young people.

  • Tom Ellison has over three decades of experience in children's residential care, education and clinical support. A Director of over 20 years standing, he has substantial experience in leading organisations engaged in providing specialist support to children and young people.


  • Victoria Shore, the Registered Manager, has almost 20 years’ experience working in the health & social care sector, during which she has gained a level 5 in leadership & management and been a registered manager with CQC, managing homes caring for children & young people with complex needs.
